Saturday volunteers needed: To keep pace with our growth we need Saturday volunteers! If you are passionate about re-use, craft, education and organising then we would love to hear from you. We ask our volunteers to give us a regular commitment for a few hours or a day each week or fortnight, on a Tuesday and/or Thursday, 10am-5pm.

Part-time receptionists needed on Saturdays: If you like meeting and greeting people, have IT skills and are available every third Saturday of the month then please contact Jen Dolan, Operations Manager via email at: jen.dolan@workandplayscrapstore.org.uk.
Corporate volunteering: Would you like to boost team morale, satisfy company CSR or just fancy the chance of a day out to help multiple deserving causes (our members!) and have some fun at the same time?
We offer a bespoke volunteering opportunity for a group of up to ten volunteers at a time. Activities are based at the Scrapstore and involve helping us organise and process stock or giving parts of the store a facelift and learning how we divert iver 60 tonnes of waste from lndfill and incineration each year.
We suggest a donation of £25 per volunteer. For this you will receive access to our biscuit tin and refreshments, a tour of the Scrapstore and a welcome from our diverse grouo of regular volunteers.

Chair of trustees: Exciting opportunity as Chair of Trustees of this small and dynamic arts and crafts re-use charity, to take the charity forward and grow and diversify its income streams. The Chair will join an established and small board of trustees and must be experienced in leading a board in terms of strategy, risk and planning, key policies and processes, financial governance, building positive relationships, conflict management, one-to-one reviews with trustees to bring out the best in them, building the board and to grow the charity's impact.
