Bunting in the Streets!

The Scrapstore was thrilled to be asked to make bespoke bunting for the recent Street Party in Cowick Road, Tooting. Much fun was had by our volunteers making it out of felt off-cuts, otherwise destined for incineration.

The street party was brilliant. The sun was shining, the atmosphere and music were fantastic and we even got burgers and sweeties. We were really pleased to bump into our old friend Sadiq Khan (he said he loved our bunting!) who has been a long-term supporter of Work and Play - hope to see you soon at the Scrapstore Mr Mayor!
