WaPS AGM 2016
Thank you to all of our supporters who attended our AGM on 20th September. We had a good evening with friends old and new, reflecting upon our successes in the last financial year (April 2015 - March 2016). Our achievements included:
a significant increase in membership: we had 373 members during the financial year
doubling our year-on-year intake of materials for reuse - est. 23.808 tonnes. Our Office Manager, Chris has done a great job building upon our donor base!
a fantastic and critical contribution made by our wonderful volunteers - from regular weekly volunteers, to 'speed volunteers' to corporate groups
a great deal of work in the community: we ran or attended 20 arts/crafts/creative events and 'touched' an estimated 1035 people through these activites
much improved social media presence - thanks to our Digital Marketing Assistant, Susanne. Are you in touch with us on Twitter/Instagram/Facebook?

Special thanks go to our outgoing Treasurer and Company Secretary, Eve Sorokina who stepped down at the meeting.
Lucy Hadfield our wonderful Chair of Trustees registered her intention to step down. - We are hoping to fill her shoes soon: please get in touch if you have any suitable nominations.
Welcome to our new Trustees Gill Upton and Fiona Lloyd. Gill has been a member with us for a number of years and regularly volunteers at the store and with arts and crafts events. Fiona is a lawyer and joins us as our new Company Secretary.
