Crowning Around!

On November 13, we set up shop in a smart marquee, ready to show children how to make crowns while their parents viewed the artworks on display at Wimbledon Art Studios, during their annual Open Studios event.

Our table was a hive of activity for three hours while the little ones cut shapes, lengths of ribbon and strips of sequin waste, poured generous sprinkles of glitter and copious quantities of glue onto gold and silver card to create crowns fit for any king or queen. The results were amazing and fit perfectly against a backdrop of the Studios’ dramatic artworks.
