Getting our 'five a day' with Normand Croft

We were thrilled to deliver our vegetable portrait workshop at Normand Croft Community School as their prize for winning the WRWA 'Waste Free Lunch Challenge'. It was an absolute pleasure to work with the beautifully behaved children who made their faces using some very interesting and unusual fruit and veg (edamame beans anyone?)

The children took inspiration from 16th century Italian painter, Arcimboldo and used only scissors to cut fruit and veg shapes out of our lovely materials (otherwise destined for the waste bin!) and make caricatures of their faces.

Thank you so much for having us Normand Croft, we had a super time!
