Supporting Childminders

We were thrilled to be part of the Wandsworth Childminder's summer programme, managed out of the Early Years Centre in Siward Road.

On 27th June we took all sorts of messy arts and crafts,, all themed around 'The Hungry Caterpillar' to the Early Years Centre and met lots of lovely tots and their Childminders. We had such fun making, painting, sticking and colouring caterpillars and butterflies.

The children had a wonderful time, as did our volunteers Jane and Catherine who ran the activity. As ever, all of our materials used were saved from landfill or incineration and made beautiful for reuse by our volunteer work-force.

The childminders had a fab chance to 'shop' as we took a hamper of Scrapstore goodies down to them for them to reuse for arts, crafts and creative play with their children.

We love getting out and about in our local community. Do get in touch if you would like us to run a workshop for you and/or bring down a hamper of goodies to your project or event.
