Who Nose?

If you've been down to the Scrapstore lately (and if you haven't, why not?), you can't have missed the eye-catching installation that's been on display since the New Year.

Inspired by the Royal Opera House's production of 'The Nose', Chloe Mattei created the piece to help inform students about how to get affordable tickets. The nose was made with unwanted newspapers mixed with glue to make paper-mache, then layered onto three different sized balloons. After that it was painted using samples provided by the Scrapstore, and finished off by being placed on Chloe's old jazz shoes!

As part of the installation, Chloe is asking 'Who Nose?' what is going to happen in 2017 and encouraging people to think about what they might achieve in the coming year. So if you're coming down, make sure you check it out - and who nose, you might get inspired!
