Marvelous markets!

We have been so happy to have been at 2 fantastic local winter markets to fundraise by selling our handmade crafts...all made by our super-clever volunteers with our materials otherwise destined for landfill or incineration.

Saffron, Kandice, Carey and Gill showcased all the wonderful items available at the Scrapstore - plus what you can make with them - on a stall at the Camberwell Arts & Crafts Winter Market on 1st December. Needless to say it was one of the busiest stalls as handmade decorations and crafts, fabric, trims, baubles, felt and ribbon was snapped up by eager shoppers.

On Saturday 24th November, Niamh, Deborah, Berit and Catherine braved the rain outside (thank goodness for our trustee marquee!) to run a super stall at the Kings College School Christmas fair...They sold oodles of handmade upcycled crafts all headed to stockings and Santa sacks as Christmas pressies for lots of lucky people.

Thanks so much to all of our volunteers for their hard work in making beautiful items to sell and for running the stalls to raise money for our charity so that we can continue to hire vans to collect all of the beautiful materials we save from landfill and incineration.
