The 11th May saw our third and best-so-far visit to Richmond May Fair. We braved the '3 seasons in one day' to meet many wonderful people interested in hearing about our work.
Our volunteers had spent weeks sorting, sewing, packing, folding and generally preparing our lovely donated materials (otherwise destined for landfill or incineration) for people to buy for their arts & crafts, sewing, play, design and reuse projects. Our gorgeous hand-made shoppers and aprons literally flew off the stall as did our quilts, bunting, buttons, haberdashery and fancy bits and pieces.
We made a brilliant amount of money which will be spent on continuing our community outreach work in Tooting.
Our next stop is Camberwell Arts Market on 15th June on Camberwell Green. Hope to see you there!
