Work and Play's 2014 AGM

Last Tuesday was Work and Plays AGM, which was not only a chance to hear all about how the Scrapstore's year has been, but was also a fantastic opportunity to catch up with volunteers, trustees and supporters, both past and present.

Chair of trustees Lucy Hadfield gave a good overview of the state of the Scrapstore, and it was wonderful to hear about how successful the past year has been, and of plans for the year to come. It was also great to get the chance to thank the trustees and the volunteers for the huge amount of work they've done in order to not only keep the Scrapstore going, but to take it from strength to strength.

After the official business was over, guests, including Councillor Annamarie Critchard, were not only treated to drinks and nibbles, but also to a paper folding workshop from Freyja, who gives demos and workshops to members on Thursdays.

Everyone had a chance to join in, and all had a lot of fun.

It was a great night, and a perfect way to end such a fantastic year for the Scrapstore.
