Our fabulously creative Trustee, Gill Upton, got out the fruit and veg with guests at Be-Enriched's community meal at the Graveney Canteen on Friday 27th July. She worked with the guests to create their very own 'vegetable portrait' after the 16th Century painter Arcimboldo who painted faces using fruits, vegetables and flowers to represent facial features.

We are a bit strict with this workshop and ask participants to make fruit and vegetable shapes to represent their features using only scissors (no drawing allowed!). As usual we supplied a wide range of paper and other scraps to use to collage the portraits.
Much fun was had by all. Gill reports that the group was fantastically enthusiastic and creative. It was a pleasure to work with the Be-Enriched guests.
...and the real food was pretty awesome too!
